IIC Collaboration Event

IIC Innovation Council

IIC Innovation Council (IIC) is setup along the lines of Institution's Innovation Council, which is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with AICTE for implementation of National Innovation & Startup Policy (NISP) via a Digital platform. It is formed with an aim to foster Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) while establishing and stabilizing an innovative ecosystem in the institute for addressing challenges to build & sustain a thriving I&E ecosystem.

It is to be done by involving institute leadership to formulate and implement I&E policy. Also to engage faculty, students, and staff in I&E activities by organizing relevant and useful activities and initiatives.

  • Support students, researchers, and faculty about entrepreneurship, specifically focusing on deep science/deep tech entrepreneurship
  • Improve awareness & understanding of creating, managing, and leveraging intellectual property (IP) among the community working with IPTel

  • Collaborate with Indian and Global organisations to bring relevant programs & initiatives
  • Improve visibility for IIC within the campus and foster a culture of innovation
  • Build partnerships with industry leaders and innovation centers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to startup founders and innovators
